World Tourism Day is observed on September 27th every year with the goal of raising awareness about historical monuments, religious sites, and UNESCO-designated world heritage.
The United Nations World Tourism Organization initiated the celebration in 1980, coinciding with the acceptance of law 27th September 1970.

Emperor Qin Shi Huang initiated its construction around 221 BC for defense purposes. Over a million laborers are believed to have perished during its construction, making it the world’s longest cemetery.
India’s Taj Mahal – The Symbol of Love
Among the world’s seven wonders, the Taj Mahal is located in India’s Agra district. This white marble structure is globally famous as a symbol of love.
Emperor Shah Jahan built it in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal’s construction involved the hard work of around 20,000 laborers, and it is considered a masterpiece of architecture and love.
