Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Ranchi-Hawda Vande Bharat train from Ranchi Station in the capital of Jharkhand, Ranchi.
He did this through a video conference on Sunday. Also present on this occasion were C.P. Radhakrishnan, the Governor of Jharkhand,
Sanjay Seth, the Member of Parliament from Ranchi, Mahua Manjhi, a Member of the Rajya Sabha, and C.P. Singh, a legislator.
Introduction of Ranchi-Hawda Vande Bharat Train
Nishant Kumar, the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Ranchi Railway Division, announced that the Ranchi-Hawda Vande Bharat train was inaugurated today.
However, its regular operation will commence from September 27th. This new Vande Bharat train will run between Ranchi and Patna,
offering convenience to passengers traveling to Tata, Ghatsila, and Hawda, especially benefiting students, entrepreneurs, and businessmen by saving time.
Weekly Schedule
The Vande Bharat train will operate six days a week, excluding Tuesdays.
Maintenance work for the Ranchi-Hawda Vande Bharat train will be conducted at Hatia.
The new rake for this train arrived from Hawda on Friday.
Fare Details
The executive class fare from Ranchi to Hawda, including meals, is Rs. 2045, while the non-executive class fare is Rs. 1030, also including meals.
The train consists of eight coaches, including one executive class coach and seven non-executive class coaches.
Timetable
The official railway information provides the following schedule: The Ranchi-Hawda Vande Bharat train will depart from Ranchi at 5:15 AM, arriving at Muri at 6:15 AM and departing at 6:17 AM.
It will reach Kotshila at 6:39 AM and depart at 6:40 AM, Purulia at 7:15 AM with departure at 7:17 AM, Chandil at 8:09 AM with departure at 8:10 AM, and Tatanagar at 8:40 AM with departure at 8:45 AM.
The train will arrive at Hawda at 12:20 PM. From Hawda, the train will depart at 3:45 PM and reach Ranchi at 10:50 PM.
Amenities on the Train
Similar to other Vande Bharat trains, the Ranchi-Hawda Vande Bharat train offers modern amenities for passengers.
Each coach is equipped with a modern display board showing station and timing information.
There are rotating chairs and personal charging points under each chair. The train also features a spacious luggage corner and advanced bathrooms with features like flush, mirror, and towels.
Additionally, passengers can choose from a variety of food items, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, by paying for them along with their ticket.
