UP’s Wedding Transformation: Palaces and Forts Open for Domestic and Foreign Couples

Marriage ceremonies play a crucial role in economic development. They reveal the financial status of city dwellers through fluctuations in supportive sales.

Recognizing this, Uttar Pradesh Wedding Industry Association is organizing a Wedding Conclave in Tajnagari Phase 2, a hotel, on Saturday. The aim is to transform UP into a wedding destination state.

Partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture

The event is a collaborative effort between the UP Tourism and Cultural Ministry and the organizers.

It intends to elevate Agra as the gateway to UP, aspiring to make it a wedding destination state.

Experts in wedding planning and businesses related to weddings will share their insights. The program will also discuss the tourism potential of the state.

Economic Opportunities for the People

Such initiatives create numerous economic opportunities for the locals, offering them a platform to showcase their talents.

The conclave will consist of four sessions, commencing with the keynote addresses by the Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Mukesh Kumar Meshram, and the Tourism and Cultural Minister, Jayveer Singh.

Industry specialists and renowned personalities will enhance the grandeur of the event. Key representatives from major hotels, entrepreneurs from various sectors, and industrial institutions will participate.

Topics of Discussion During the Sessions

The sessions will cover topics such as exploring new horizons in tourism, fostering the wedding industry’s growth in UP, empowering women in the wedding sector, and embracing digital transformation in weddings and hotels.

After becoming the Wedding Destination State, Uttar Pradesh aims to attract both local and foreign couples, similar to Rajasthan, where couples come for traditional and international weddings.

The state’s forts and palaces will serve as venues for these weddings, and they will also undergo development as part of this plan.
