Unveiling the Splendor of India’s Last Village: Ideal Visiting Time and Travel Tips

Adventurous souls always have a desire to explore different places. If you’re looking for a new and serene destination, consider visiting Mana Village.

Often referred to as India’s last village, this place is incredibly beautiful, boasting religious sites, abundant rivers, and waterfalls.

According to Hindu scriptures, the path to heaven starts from here. It’s the very place where the Pandavas began their eternal journey.

If you’re interested in visiting this unique village, here’s how to get there and the best time to go.

Getting to Mana Village (How to Reach Mana)

The only road route to reach Mana, India’s final village, is NH-58. You can take a shared or private taxi from Badrinath to reach the village.

The nearest airport to Mana is the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. The closest railway stations are Haridwar and Rishikesh.

Best Time to Visit Mana Village

Journeying to Mana Village is possible only during the summer and monsoon seasons when the Badrinath Yatra is open. During winters, the village gets heavy snowfall.

The ideal time to visit Mana Village is between May and October. However, make sure to avoid traveling during heavy rainfall, as the paths can be slippery during that time.
