Patna Trains Alert: One Canceled, Another’s Route Altered

Traveling by train in the month of September can be challenging due to various development projects affecting train operations in different places.

However, efforts are being made to improve passenger facilities and streamline train operations at the Varanasi Junction through yard remodeling.

Changes in Train Operations

Previously, some trains had their routes changed due to track alterations. Now, there have been modifications in the operations of these trains.

Cancellation and Resumption of Trains

  • The train numbered 15231, the Barauni-Gondia Express, which was originally scheduled to start from Barauni, has been canceled from September 11 to October 15.
  • In return, train number 15232, the Gondia-Barauni Express, will remain canceled from September 12 to October 16.
  • The train numbered 22355, the Patliputra-Chandigarh Express, originating from Patliputra, will remain canceled on September 20, 24, 27, and October 1, 4, 8, and 11.
  • In return, train number 22356, the Chandigarh-Patliputra Express, will be canceled on September 21, 25, 28, and October 2, 5, 9, and 12.

Resumption of Previously Canceled Trains

Trains that were previously canceled will now be operated via modified routes.

  • The train numbered 19421, the Ahmedabad-Patna Express, starting from Ahmedabad, will run via the Manikpur-Prayagraj-Varanasi-Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction route on September 24, October 1, and October 8.
  • In return, train number 19422, the Patna-Ahmedabad Express, starting from Patna, will operate via the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction-Varanasi-Prayagraj-Manikpur route on September 26, October 3, and October 10.
