Jageshwar Dham, situated approximately 40 km away from Almora, stands proudly at an altitude of about 6,200 feet above sea level.

This Shiva temple, around 2500 years old, is a marvel made of stone, housing 124 small temples.

It is believed that the tradition of Shiva worship originated here. Devotees come from far and wide to offer their prayers at this sacred abode of Lord Shiva, where idols of Lord Vishnu, Goddess Shakti, and Lord Surya are also revered.
