1. Khatushyamji Temple
About 40 km away from the Sikar district headquarters lies the town of Khatusar, home to the globally renowned temple of Baba Shyam, the Kaliyuga avatar of Lord Krishna.
This temple has numerous fascinating legends associated with it, some even mentioned in the Mahabharata.
Every year during Holi, the Khatushyamji fair attracts devotees from all over the country and abroad, all seeking the divine blessings of Baba Khatushyam.

2. Harshnath Temple
Situated approximately 21 km away from Sikar city atop the Harsha Giri mountain, the Harshnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is famously known as Harsha or Harsh Giri.
According to mythological tales, Harsh is considered the brother of Maa Jeen, and the temple is alternatively known as Harshnath Bheruji’s temple.
Built in 973 AD, the temple stands at an elevation of around 914 meters above sea level, with its origins dating back to the Vikram Samvat era in 1030.
The temple’s architect was the Shaiva saint Bhavarkirti, a contemporary of Chauhan ruler Vigrahraj I.
3. Jeen Mata Temple
Located in the Revasa village of Sikar district, Jeen Mata Temple is approximately 29 km away from Sikar city.
This ancient temple, believed to be thousands of years old, is dedicated to Goddess Jeen Rani. During Navratri, lakhs of devotees visit here for her blessings.
Near Jeen Mata’s temple, on the peak of a hill, stands the temple of her brother, Harsh Bhairav Nath.
Legend has it that Mughal emperor Aurangzeb wanted to demolish Jeen Mata’s temple but faced divine intervention when a swarm of bees attacked his army.
Upon realizing his mistake, the emperor vowed to keep an eternal lamp burning in the temple.
4. Havelis of Sikar
The Havelis (mansions) of Sikar, particularly Gaurilal Biyani’s Haveli and Tarachand Ruia’s Haveli in Ramgarh (Sikar), are globally renowned due to their exceptional frescoes.
These unique artworks can only be found in the Shekhawati region. Additionally, the havelis of Nandlal Deoda and Kanhaiyalal Goyanka in Fatehpur are famous for their exquisite frescoes.
