UAE Airline cancels Services until August 31

Emirates airline has announced an extension to the ban on traffic to Khartoum until August 31.

The decision comes as a result of the ongoing violent clashes in Khartoum, Sudan, which have created an unsafe environment for aircraft movement.

UAE-based airlines have consequently halted their operations to this African country.

In a statement released by the airline, Emirates highlighted the deteriorating situation in Khartoum as the reason behind this decision.

All flights to Khartoum, specifically EK733 and EK734, will remain suspended from April 15 to August 31. Flydubai has also extended its ban on flights to Khartoum.

Passengers who have already booked tickets are advised to contact their travel agency.

They have been given two options: to make alternative travel arrangements or to request a refund.
