That means you can explore Mini Ladakh over the weekend. It’s not too expensive to visit and it’s very close to Delhi.

So, why wait? You can plan your weekend getaway to Mini Ladakh. Let’s find out more about it…

Where is Mini Ladakh Located?

There’s a place near Delhi, in Faridabad to be exact, which is often referred to as Mini Ladakh. Some people also call it Pangoak Lake or Goa Beach.

But its real name is Surajkund Lake. Some people also know it as Peacock Lake. Situated not far from Ballabhgarh-Sohna Road in Haryana,

this lake is a great destination for family outings, especially on weekends or during summers.

The Breathtaking Beauty of Mini Ladakh

The lake’s beauty is simply amazing. Nestled among small hills, the water of the lake is incredibly clear.

It looks as clear as crystal. During weekends, many tourists gather here to enjoy the beauty of this place. The scenic view here is truly captivating.

Things to Keep in Mind When Visiting Mini Ladakh

Mini Ladakh is an excellent place to visit, but there are a few things to consider. Since it’s surrounded by small hills, there isn’t much parking space available.

You can bring a bike up to the lakeside, but if you’re coming by car, you might need to park it a bit farther away.

There aren’t many shops around, so it’s a good idea to bring your own food and drinks.

Celebrities also come here for shooting movies, and it’s famous for pre-wedding photoshoots too.

When Not to Visit Mini Ladakh

Mini Ladakh, or Surajkund Lake, is surrounded by various small islands and resembles Ladakh’s landscape on one side.

Due to this, it’s called Mini Ladakh. It’s not recommended to visit this place at night.

Getting to Surajkund Lake (Mini Ladakh)

Surajkund Lake, or Mini Ladakh, is only about an hour away from Delhi. On your way from Delhi or Gurugram,

you’ll pass through the village of Dhauj, where there are various activities for tourists.

You can enjoy camping and rock climbing there. Surajkund Lake is located 57 km from Delhi, 36 km from Gurugram, and 21 km from Faridabad.
