For travelers eager to return from India to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a new problem has arisen due to a sharp increase in ticket prices.

According to media reports, those wishing to travel back to the UAE are facing a staggering 200% surge in ticket fares, causing many to cancel their travel plans.

Surprising Rise in Ticket Rental Prices

The sudden 200% increase in ticket prices compared to the previous rates is not being well-received by travelers.

It’s common for ticket prices to rise during holiday seasons.

Travel experts suggest that ticket prices between India and UAE start increasing in July and tend to remain high until early September.

Impact on Different Routes and Regions

For instance, the cost of a ticket from Mumbai to Dubai for August 20th has risen to Dh890-Dh1,000, which is now Dh500 more expensive.

Delhi to Dubai flights, usually priced around Dh520, have now reached Dh1,073. Similarly, for South India, the prices have gone up significantly.

The fare for Kerala can range from Dh1,288 to Dh2,277, compared to the usual Dh600-Dh1,000 during off-season times.

It is believed that ticket prices may reduce after mid-September.

Travelers’ Hopes Dashed

Many Indian travelers had only booked one-way tickets to India during their vacation time.

They hoped to see a decrease in ticket prices in August.

However, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Several passengers are opting for alternative routes like Ras Al Khaimah and Muscat to manage their travel expenses effectively.
