Darjeeling Hill Station

Mussoorie Hill Station

Mussoorie, located in the Garhwal Himalayan range in Uttarakhand, is known as the “Queen of the Hills” too.

Nestled at an altitude of 2,050 meters above sea level, Mussoorie offers stunning views of the Doon Valley and the great Himalayan peaks.

The town is known for its British-era houses and offers numerous attractions such as Kempty Falls, Cloud’s End, and Sir George Everest’s House. You can also indulge in car journeys and horseback riding.

How to Reach: Jolly Grant Airport (30 kilometers), Dehradun Railway Station (36 kilometers), and Mussoorie Bus Stand.

Best Time to Visit: March to June

Ooty Hill Station

Ooty, also known as Udhagamandalam, is a popular hill station in Tamil Nadu. It’s situated in the Nilgiri Hills at an altitude of around 2,240 meters above sea level.

Ooty becomes even more beautiful during its peak season. Some of its attractions include Ooty Lake, Stone House, Nilgiri Mountain Railway, and Pykara Falls.

How to Reach: Coimbatore International Airport (57 kilometers), Mettupalayam (47 kilometers), and Ooty Bus Stand.

Best Time to Visit: October to December
