The government has reduced bus fares by more than 10%.
The state government has provided significant relief to passengers traveling on roadways buses, specifically those labeled as ‘Capital Service.
‘ The fare for these buses has been decreased substantially, now aligning closely with regular bus fares.
Lower Fare, Higher Savings
The fare for Capital Service buses has been reduced by 130 paise per passenger per kilometer. This reduction in fare amounts to nearly 10% less than before.
Previously, the fare for Rajdhani Express buses was higher compared to regular buses.
Compared to regular buses, passengers were charged approximately 10% more for these Rajdhani Express buses.
With this reduction, passengers will save Rs. 13 on a 100-kilometer journey. ARMCB Ram, from the Akbarpur Depot, mentioned that this immediate reduction in fares has come into effect.
This reduction will lead to significant savings for passengers traveling on direct service buses connecting districts to the capital city.
