Indore, a vibrant city, offers a delightful atmosphere with pleasant weather.

Gentle breezes and warm sunlight make the days cheerful, while the lush green surroundings and soothing waterfall sounds create a serene ambiance.

If you’re tired of the city’s hustle and bustle, why not take a break and embark on a refreshing trekking adventure? All you need are comfortable shoes,

a backpack with essentials like a rope, snacks, water, and perhaps a walking stick.

Nature’s pristine beauty awaits your arrival!

Into the Lap of Nature

About 75 kilometers away from the city, lies an enchanting haven known for its charm and uniqueness.

Starting your journey from Indore, you can reach this place via Manpur.

From Manpur, a 15-kilometer distance leads you to Dhala Village, where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the fields and farmlands.

As you approach the village, you’ll come across a path leading to a government school. From here, it’s a walk on foot to explore further.

The Path Less Traveled

A four-kilometer trail, perfect for both trekking enthusiasts and those eager to experience nature’s wonders, takes you closer to the Jogi Bhadak Waterfall.

While you could use a bicycle or a small vehicle, the uneven terrain might make this decision a bit challenging.

Opting for a leisurely walk lets you fully absorb the surrounding natural beauty.

Witness the Majestic Jogi Bhadak Waterfall

Venturing deeper into the jungle from Dhala towards the waterfall, you’ll encounter a path that guides you to the magnificent Jogi Bhadak Waterfall.

A stop dam has been constructed to direct the river’s water into a pool, which then cascades down the waterfall.

To witness this marvel, you’ll need to cross a bridge. For avid trekkers, an alternative path near the bridge leads to a closer view of the waterfall.

Dip into Nature’s Delights Safely

While Jogi Bhadak Waterfall is safer compared to other waterfalls, it’s crucial to exercise caution.

If you wish to take a dip, be mindful of the surroundings and avoid any risky ventures.

The water’s color can change suddenly due to rain, indicating rising water levels.

It’s advisable to enjoy the scenic beauty from a safe distance along the riverbank.

Discover Hidden Gems

Apart from the main waterfall, there are two smaller cascades nearby. These hidden gems are relatively less known but offer their own unique charm.

To witness the complete splendor, a trek of approximately six kilometers is required. The path branching off near the bridge leads you to these smaller waterfalls.

As of now, the water flow in these cascades is limited.

Staying Safe by the Waters

Ashok Golane from the Youth Hostel Association emphasizes safety at this location.

While Jogi Bhadak Waterfall is relatively secure, visitors are advised against venturing into the river or attempting to reach the waterfall during heavy rain.

The water level can rise unexpectedly due to rainfall. Stick to the riverbank and be cautious of changing water conditions.

Remember, food options are limited, mainly consisting of corn. Bringing your own provisions is a practical choice for sustenance.

Exploring the serene and picturesque Jogi Bhadak Waterfall offers an opportunity to disconnect from the urban chaos and connect with nature’s tranquility.

A journey to this hidden treasure promises both relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal escape from the bustling city life.
