Known for its famous one-horned rhinoceros, the park is located in the Golaghat, Nagaon, and Sonitpur districts of Assam.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985, this national park offers thrilling jeep safaris, allowing visitors to witness its rich biodiversity up close.

Diverse Wildlife and Scenic Beauty

Visitors to Kaziranga National Park get the chance to observe various animals and birds up close.

Due to the flood warnings in the Brahmaputra River, the park remains closed from May to October.

However, due to the present road conditions, partial jeep safaris are allowed in the Kaziranga Range, Kohora Range, and Bagori Range every Wednesday.

A Home to Rare Species

Spread over 430 square kilometers along the Brahmaputra River in the north and the Karbi Anglong hills in the south, Kaziranga National Park is renowned worldwide for its population of one-horned rhinoceros.

It stands as one of the best and most famous wildlife sanctuaries globally. Apart from rhinoceros, tourists can also spot wild buffalo, deer, elephants, tigers, and various other animals in this national park.

The park’s natural beauty, including waterfalls, tea gardens, and diverse bird species, captivates the hearts of tourists.

A Haven for Bird and Animal Enthusiasts

Kaziranga National Park not only attracts tourists with its scenic beauty but also serves as a sanctuary for numerous endangered species, from migratory birds to various herbivores and carnivores.

It is a mesmerizing experience to witness the harmony of nature in this national park, where travelers can marvel at the wonders of the animal kingdom in their natural habitat.
