During the festive season, a large number of passengers travel back home. This leads to an increase in the number of passengers on trains.
Indian Railways understands this surge and takes care of its passengers’ comfort. To manage the extra rush during festivals like Dussehra and Diwali, Indian Railways has arranged special trains.
Extended Schedule for Convenient Travel
Central Railway has expanded the services of special trains for Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath festivals.
The Sai Nagar Shirdi-Tirupati Weekly Special, initially scheduled to run until 25th September 2023, will now operate from 16th October 2023 to 27th November 2023.
Likewise, the Tirupati-Sai Nagar Shirdi Weekly Special, previously set until 24th September 2023, will now run from 15th October 2023 to 26th November 2023.
Additionally, the Dadar-Kazipet Weekly Special, earlier planned until 28th September 2023, has been extended from 05th October 2023 to 30th November 2023.
The Kazipet-Dadar Weekly Special, which was supposed to end on 27th September 2023, will now operate from 04th October 2023 to 29th November 2023.
Moreover, the Dadar-Kazipet Weekly Special, initially set until 01st October 2023, will now run from 08th October 2023 to 26th November 2023.
The Kazipet-Dadar Weekly Special, previously until 30th September 2023, will now operate from 07th October 2023 to 25th November 2023.

The timings of these special trains remain unchanged, and booking channels are open. Passengers can book tickets for these trains through IRCTC platforms from any station.
