Getting to Mathura from Delhi is a breeze, taking only two and a half hours via the Yamuna Expressway.

You have several travel options: drive your own car, take a bus, or catch a train from New Delhi or Hazrat Nizamuddin stations.

Explore the Spiritual Heart of Braj

If you’re planning a four-day holiday, explore the famous places in Braj, including Mathura, Gokul, Vrindavan, Barsana, Nandgaon, and Govardhan.

Start your journey by visiting Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and the nearby Dwarkadhish Temple in Mathura on the first day.

Mathura’s attractions can be covered in three to four hours. Take a break in the afternoon as temples in Mathura Vrindavan close between 12:00 and 4:00 PM.

After 4 PM, head to Gokul, Krishna’s childhood village, just 12 kilometers from Mathura. Explore the famous sites until 8 PM.

Spiritual Sojourn in Vrindavan

On the second day, travel to Vrindavan from Mathura and spend the entire day exploring its renowned temples and streets.

In the morning, visit old Vrindavan, including Shri Banke Bihari Temple, Nidhivan, Radha Vallabh Radha Raman, Yamuna Ghat, and Chir Ghat. In the evening, explore modern Vrindavan, including the world-famous love temple and ISKCON temple.

Divine Serenity in Barsana, Nandgaon, and Govardhan

On the third day, visit Shri Radha Rani’s village, Barsana. Explore its famous sites like Radha Rani Temple, Kusum Sarovar, and Kirti Mandir until the afternoon.

Take some rest and then head to Shri Krishna’s village, Nandgaon, where you can explore places like Nand Baba’s temple and Mahadev’s temple.

Sacred Circumambulation in Govardhan

On the final day of your journey, visit Govardhan and perform the sacred circumambulation (parikrama) around the Govardhan mountain, covering a distance of 7 kos.
