Vrindavan is a place you might have visited several times, enjoying its delicious cuisine. But have you ever been to Shriji’s Kitchen? This kitchen is located near Atalla Chungi, and it’s where pilgrims coming to the city often dine.

It’s famous for offering free meals. Here, you need to show your ID card, and then you can savor a meal with your family in a comfortable room.

The meal typically includes bread, vegetables, lentils, and rice, along with desserts. This kitchen serves from 11 AM to 2 PM and from 7 PM to 9 PM.

Chana Puri Ashram: A Stone’s Throw from Banke Bihari Temple

Not far from the Banke Bihari Temple is the Chana Puri Ashram, also known as the Chana Puri Ashram. Here, you can enjoy tea in the morning, followed by a free dinner.

They serve a range of meals throughout the day, starting with tea and breakfast at 7 AM, followed by puri with vegetables at 9 AM, snacks at 3 PM, and puri with vegetables again at 5 PM. No payment is required at this place.

Gauri Gopal Ashram: Free Food on Vrindavan Parikrama Road

On the Vrindavan Parikrama Road, you’ll find the Gauri Gopal Ashram, which also provides free food. People start queuing up here as early as 8 AM.

You can have meals here throughout the day. Breakfast with tea is served at 7 AM, and then you can get puri with vegetables at 9 AM, snacks at 3 PM, and dinner from 5 PM onwards. No money is needed here.

Jagannath Kitchen: Affordable and Delicious Food Near Keshi Ghat

Near Keshi Ghat on the Parikrama Road, you’ll discover Jagannath Kitchen, where you can have an unlimited meal for just 20 rupees.

The quality of food here is quite good. The menu changes daily, offering various dishes like roti, rice, lentils, and two types of vegetables. Desserts are also served.

This kitchen opens from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM for lunch and from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM for dinner.

Shri Sadan: The Best Option with Budget Accommodation

If you have some money to spare and prefer home-cooked meals, Shri Sadan is your best option.

Here, you’ll receive a thali with rice, roti, three different vegetables, dessert, papad, and salad.

It costs 90 rupees per thali. Shri Sadan is open for lunch from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and for dinner from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Additionally, you can find budget-friendly accommodations here.
