The recent meeting of the G-20 Tourism Working Group in Srinagar has been regarded as a game-changer in attracting foreign tourists.
Shah revealed that the government’s efforts to promote lesser-known places have yielded positive results.
Around 75 offbeat destinations have been emphasized to celebrate local culture, along with 75 destinations for spiritual and religious tourism.

Shah mentioned that a team from the tourism department had visited Ahmedabad to gather information about the region and its efforts.
Similar visits have been made to Kochi and Chennai, aiming to uplift tourism in those areas.
